Phrae

Phrae is home to several ancient Lanna-style temples rich in history.

Also taking place in Phrae is the Rocket Festival, also known as Bun Bang Fai.

This is a colourful and lively traditional festival celebrated in both Laos and Northeast Thailand, including Phrae province.

The festival usually takes place in May or June, at the start of the rainy season.
